These are photos of some castles in Spain. They were taken mostly during the fall and winter of 2001 and 2002 (when it starts) in Castille and in La Mancha. Up to Christmas 2001 all photos were taken with a Minolta SLR 5000 (35-105 mm) and/or a Nikon F2 AS Photomic (50 mm, 105 mm and 200 mm). Snaps were digitalized with a scanner Epson 9500 GT and adapted to the web with Microsoft's PhotoDraw. As of Christmas I am using a digital Olympus C-2020-Z (learning to use it). This photo may be an example of my learning cycle:

Villafranca del Castillo (Madrid) Usually, my wife and I take our car on week ends around Madrid (where we live) and explore the country in search of castles or old romanesque churches. Happily both are aplenty in distances that do not exceed a circle of 300 kms. Hope you will all enjoy my country and my efforts to best show this historical part of it (and I hope I am not boring you to death with historical backgrounds...)
