Karijini National Park is another one of those amazing places with amazing things but that happens to be in the middle of nowhere, so not that many people get to go. But that's Western Australia for you. I've become convinced that in order for an area to gain national park status, it has to have a spectacular gorge in it. I've seen so many gorges I'm beginning to think that "Australia" literally means "many gaping holes in ground".
