*Even the guidebooks warn Westerners [whites] to practice extreme caution about this super-friendliness of the Indonesians 'coz it may be pleasant to be mocked by the locals at the start sort of making you feel like a superstar, but it gets tiring after awhile since you'll get it everywhere you go! But then again, they're just one cuorious people. As for myself & my cousin, we look like locals that we didn't get mocked (nor stared-at all the time!) throughout our long stay here in Indoensia except at a few instances such as these when we're with a tour group. - The locals then knew we were also tourists but were intrigued 'coz we look like them & thus, wanted to know we're were from.
