As I mentioned awhile back, Suleiman "the magnificent" was such a great leader that the Muslim world started naming their sons after him which still continues up to this very day since there are lots of muslim guys with that name.

The name Suleiman then is analoguous to the names "John," "Henry," "Justin," [& etc.] since these were the names of some of the best kings/emperors of the western world.
