During her 2002 South Pacific voyage, Amazing Grace arrived at Pitcairn Island on the evening of December 10. The wind was strong and the Captain anchored to the east of Bounty Bay. At 4 AM the ship pulled anchor and moved around the corner to Bounty Bay. Morning broke with grey skies and rain. Due to the weather, the residents of Pitcairn came out to the ship in there aluminum longboat. We spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon buying their crafts and visiting.
