Although my direct flight from Detroit to London actually left on Wednesday at 9:30pm, I didn't arrive until 10:00A.M. the next day. The 7-hour flight was fine in seat 17c, and I used this trip to try out some new earplugs, which because of some very loud people behind me, came in extremely handy. My arrival point, Gatwick Airport, was clean, nice, and Duty Free!
