Bavaria: Sights, Good Food, Great Beer

This is a photo magazine of a trip I took with my brother, Craig, to Southern Germany. Most of our time was spent in Bavaria, but we also included Salzburg, Austria, and the Wine Road in Alsace, France. I had lived in Bavaria several years ago, and wanted to show him the sights. Also, I wanted him find out for himself what real beer is! The latter was amply explored.

Thanks for your comments. You can find Andechs beer in Munich at their very own bierhalle. We did!! It's located beside the Frauenkirche. They also have a bierhalle in Nurnburg. Great beer.

Great theme and photos. Made it all come to life. My favorite hofbrau haus was Paulaner. Plus the Andechs monastary 40km west of Munich. They have the best doppelbock dunkel in the world!

Beer
I don't know if you're from the U.S. or not but it seem like people in the U.S., whether immigrants or Americans themselves, always say the beer in other countries (e.g. Mexico, Philippines, Germany, & etc.) are better than American beer. But overall, nice set of photos!
