Although rice terraces are common throughout south east asia, nowhere are they more spectacular than the Ifugao Rice Terraces in Banaue Philippines. The Batad Terraces are particularly impressive especially in the early morning. Its amphitheatre like terraces is sight to behold and Unesco has declared it a World Heritate Site
