*Indonesians are so curious but friendly especially towards westerners that they treat caucasians like celebs! But after awhile, some tourists gets tired of it as it becomes a frequent occurance. (I don't blame them tourists.)

Still, my only take on it is - just simply relish the experience 'coz once back home, you won't get such celeb treatment. After all, the Indonesians are just curious & overtly friendly with no malicious intent.

As for my cousin & I, they were also intrigued by us (any island we went too) 'coz the Philippines to them is: "the island-nation to the north" & hence, their interest in us.

But overall, we're all of the same stock - "the Malay race" along the Malaysians.
