This trip was done Jan. 2001 &#38; thus, is different than Sagada Jan. 2000 with Rico. *The Banaue rice terraces is the grand daddy of all the rice terraces of the world that it&#39;s included in the &#34;7 Wonders of the Natural World.&#34; Now I don&#39;t know why it was included since these rice terraces were man-made +2,000 yrs. ago &#38; therefore, not really natural. But anyway, this is one site where the terraces are preserved &#38; it&#39;s so vast that what you see in this pic is only a portion of it. *The town you see below has plenty of cheap accomodations[only +&#36;1] though very rustic. If you want modernity, then the numerous hotels/motels are 20 km. away by public transport. </div></nolayer></noembed>
