It was back in Cambodia 2000 when I met a friendly German couple who stated that they've been to Banaue & actually got lost during their hike. In turn, they stumble upon an Ifugao man like this which made them apprehensive at the start 'coz of his weapon & attire but found out that the Ifugaos are all-right after all. They were taken to the village since they wanted to see more Ifugaos & the village itself & they ahd such a great time, they said - the best experience they had in the Philippines:) *The traditional houses you see are quite typical of the Philippines - small & quite simplistic that it's only good for 1 family.
