In September 1999, my husband and I decided to take a tour of the northern NC lighthouses. We started out tour at Cape Lookout and went up Highway 12 via car and ferry to Corolla. We returned to our home in Roanoke Rapids, NC thru the Dismal Swamp. This will be another trip later. We were ready to get home so did not visit much in the Dismal Swamp. There will be other added later of our beach vacations and wonderful seascapes taken then.

Most of the pictures were taken with a Canon Sure Shot, some were taken with a digital. They have been scanned and the web shots are not as clear as the original pictures.
