*Aceh is one of Indonesia's politically-unstable but relatively-small area where deaths occur almost everyday! In fact, it's always in the news all the time (e.g. Time magazine, Newsweek, & etc.)

Now if you look back at the Sumatran map, Aceh is marked by the red asterisk at the northernmost tip of Sumatra.

Anyway, trouble here stems from Muslim seperatists who wants to form a seperate country even if it's small since the central government in Jakarta is neglecting this remote region as to what the Acehnese claims.

Incidentally, Islam here is much more fundamental than anywhere else in the country.
