- See the houses below? There's actually several towns down below. *These pics were taken by the road on top of the crater. Indeed, there's this road that climbs up the crater's rim from Bukit Tinggi (affording you a breath-taking view of the crater lake), then descends down to the shores of the lake where several villages are located. The road then continues to a +50 km. circumferencial road down below affording you a tour around the crater via public transport.
