Mt. Timpanogos
Mountains in Utah picture - (11,750 ft.) This mountain is named after the tribe of Ute Indians (Timpanogotzis) who lived nearby when this area was first visited by white men in 1776. It is one of the most scenic mountains in the Wasatch range. It is also higher than any of the others, except for the three peaks of Mt. Nebo. It is located northeast of Provo, in Utah County.
