Sailing in Croatia - National park Kornati part 2. People have always spoken of the Kornati island with wonder. The Kornati island belong to the Nord Dalmatian arcipelago. They spread over an area of about 300 km2 from northwest to the southwest are 25 km in lenght and from northwest to southwest they stretch 13 km. In that area are 140 islads, some large, some smaller and many rocks. Nowhere else in the world are there so amny island in such a small area. For this reasont the Kornati have been called a labyrint of land in the sea.
