This statue of Sherlock Holmes stands just outside Baker Street tube station in London - the nearest tube station from Madame Tussaud's. We all know that Sherlock Holmes lived on Baker Street. In fact, there is a Sherlock Holmes Centre nearby on Baker Street for Sherlock Holmes fans. What many of us do not know is the fact that Baker Street tube station happens to be the world's first underground railway station. By the way, London Planetarium and Madame Tussaud's are not only next door to each other, in fact they are inter-connected and joint tickets are sold to visit the two attractions. We visited the planetarium along with Madame Tussaud's, but I have no picture of it.
