Oregon is one of the few states in the U.S. that has designated "free campsites." The drawback to these campgrounds is - they're very rustic! (No showers, electricity, & etc.)

To find them, all you need is a map of the state which shows where these free campgrounds are. This camp area is approximately +50 miles outside Portland, halfway to the coast.
