The sound of nature here, especially the birds & other animals, are fantastic! However, there's no shower here just like in any other free campgrounds of the U.S. As for this long road trip, our record is 8 days without shower!

*Prior to this U.S. roadtrip, we just came back from the U.K., cutting our Euro trip short 'coz we ran out of money since the U.K. is very expensive. (I still haven't publish our "Scotland '03" articles yet.)

But since we still had 2 months of vacation time, a road trip of the U.S. is a cheap alternative as long as you stay in free campgrounds & eat in very cheap fastfoods. Gas then is the only other expense.

By the way, a regular campgrounds with facilities, electricty, & shower costs $15 a nite anywhere in the U.S. Now for a 2 month road trip, it will cost you $1,000!
