But violent crime in camp sites is not a problem since the U.S. is very peaceful contrary to what the movies depicts. However, quite a number of people here are really into camping & partying (heavy drinking) especially in the summer & thus, some very loud folks at the campsites, but they won't bother you. In fact, it's even better when there are some noisy people around as it then scares away wild animals or very bad, crime-minded people, or even worse, a strayed serial killer which is a posibility no matter how small. *Indeed, no matter how peaceful the U.S. is [in general], there's a few bad people too just like in any other countries of the world.
