As a result of massive hanging-out here every Sunday, you then can't help but hear negative remarks from other citizens of H.K. whether it's the Chinese themselves, or expat Brits, or other contract/migrant workers here (Indians, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, & etc.), or Westerners living & working here in H.K. (e.g. Europeans, Australians, Americans, & etc.) Sometimes, even mere tourists themselves has negative remarks! Comments mainly critical of the hang-out, even if it's very peaceful with no laws broken. Interestingly, it's quite similar in California where I live whereby all sorts of people criticizes the hanging-out of the Mexicans in the streets even if it's peaceful. Overall, hanging-out is simply the culture of some people of this world as it's a form of support & social networking, but other people sadly despises it.
