It's also great that she has a good friend there (the other Filipina in Rovanemi who's also a pre-school teacher) & that the world now has internet & so, she can see & communicate with us in the U.S., & her family in the Philippines everyday. Such is the power of the internet which is something we didn't have 20 years ago. In addition, I have a cousin in Dubai & Abu Dabi [U.A.E.], uncles in Saudi Arabia, & an uncle who was in Iran in the late 70's, but was forced to go back home along so many other Filipinos when the Ayatollah & his followers overtook Iran.
