<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> View of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak:<br> Scenery in Hong Kong picture - In a way, the plight of the overseas Filipinos is indeed not really that dramatic or bad compared to other people of this world such as: the Jews of the past, the refugees in Africa, Palestine, &#38; Afghanistan, &#38; etc. Still, the &#34;Filipino plight&#34; is a plight of a people. P.S. Going overseas to find employment is not new to our clan. Currently, I have a 30 year old female cousin in Rovanemi, Finland (the &#34;Arctic Circle&#34;) who&#39;s a pre-school teacher under a 2 year contract. She was recruited in the Philippines where she did the same job. And though, there&#39;s a few Filipinos in Helsinki [the capital], there&#39;s only 2 of them up north in Rovanemi! And with the sun almost not showing during the Arctic Circle&#39;s cold winter season (while it&#39;s always hot &#38; sunny in the Philippines), then my cousin&#39;s in for a shock! But it&#39;s great that she has a positive, upbeat, &#38; sunny attitude or else, she will not survive! </div></nolayer></noembed>
