This started out as a solo backpacking trip orginating from Toronto and going all the way to Tofino on Van. Island and back again all on a bus. No doubt, those were the longest bus rides ever in my life. This country is truly massive but seeing the rocky Canadian shield turn into the flats of the prairies and then into the spectacular Rocky mountains from the window of a bus is a great experience in itself.
