Ever heard of extremism & how too much of one things is BAD? In science case, it's definitely right to say that it has enormously improved our lives & we have TONS of evidences of it in our daily lives. Hence, science has a lot of truth in it no matter how revolting their theories & teachings are to some of us. On the other hand, science also enabled us to build weapons of mass destruction whether chemical, biological, or nukes. Inshort, it's a "double-edge sword" since science is good for you, but it can also kill you! The same goes for religion 'coz eventhough it's good for mankind, too much of it can also kill man & such was the case in the WTC, the Crusades, the conquest of the Americas, the Inquisition, & etc.
