We spent a week in June sailing around the Phang Nga bay in southern Thailand. The bay is large and provided some shelter from the full force of the South-West monsoon that was bringing some nasty weather to the area. Bordered on the west by Phuket, and the east by Krabi, the bay includes the famous islands of Phi-Phi, where "The Beach" was filmed. The bay is littered with islands, mostly uninhabited.
