But even if the size of Borobodur is a bit of a disappointment, just take it for what it is especially since it has SUPERB rural vicinity. But then again, Angkor & Bagan are also located amidst fantastic rural greeneries! Ah, but what makes Borobodur unique (& therefore special) are the big chedi-bells that houses sitting Buddhas inside which Angkor & Bagan doesn't have. But then again, Angkor & Bagan also has neat stuffs which Borobodur doesn't have too! The bottom line is - you gotta see all 3 'coz they're all unique on their own!:)
