The new palace which is the residence of the sultan's descendants is not too far from here. Unfortunately, it's only open 'til early afternoon & was close the next day when we're here in Yogyakarta. It's supposed to be splendid & hence, worth visiting when here. *I'll definitely go back here in Indonesia someday & see all the remarkable water palaces that I missed though their time slots for visits are narrow & that the areas that can be visited are limited.
