We stopped off at Pisa on our way to Florence and took a short walk around the city to see the Leaning Tower. Along our walk, we saw how beautiful Pisa was. With (of course) a river running through the town, the riverside streets and buildings were beautifully aligned and decorated. The style of streets and buildings were very similar to other Italian cities. We happened to walk through the college area of town. We saw many campus buildings; dormitories, academic buildings and student union buildings. As we were walking we saw their 'hangout place.' It was an outside square surrounded by restaurants, shops and outside tables and chairs. With plenty of green grass and a fountain, students sat around and read or visited with their friends.

We finally find the Leaning Tower by seeing the top of it sticking out from the tops of shorter buildings. From our view, it looked like it was in the process of falling down. There were a lot of tourists around the tower taking pictures. And believe us, it looks just like it does in the pictures. It's a tower and it's leaning! The buildings nearby the tower are very beautiful and elegant as well.

To catch a train to Florence, we decided to walk back to the station and hop on the next train. It was a good stop!
