Here are the photos from our recent trip to Emei Shan (pronounced 'uh-may') in Sichuan Province. This mountain is one of the four major sacred Buddhist mountains in China. the original temples on the mountain were built as early as the time that Buddhism made it's way from India to China. Emei Shan was added to the UNESCO World Heritage site list in 1996.
