Yes There`s still life left in the toon Yet. like everywhere else Yuppy Bars are all over the place. His nibs has gone but there is still plenty of good boozers left. Byres Road is still the place for a good pubcrawl Rubiyat,Argon,Curlers and down at the kelvin hall Snafflebit,Stirling Castle and the Park bar are still there.

I see the Griffen pub is still alive and well, what happened to His Nibs off Sauchiehall St and (I think) Holland St? I spent many days of my almost forgotten youth in that wonderful pub, often ending the evening at the Art school dancing the rest of the night away (mostly Wednesday nights if I remember correctly), or staggering off to get curry over by the University of Glasgow. Does that sort of chaos and mayhem still continue in the world's greatest city?
