This is the fourth and last leg of our trip to Europe in September 2004. We traveled to Stuttgart to see the Cannstatter Volksfest. It's the second largest beer festival after Munich's Oktoberfest. We loved the food, beer and wines of the Swabian region of Germany. The people were very considerate and we used our limited Deutsch as best we could. A trip to the Staatsgalerie took an entire afternoon and we were pretty exhausted after looking at fifteen centuries of art. I hope you enjoy these pictures of a city we entirely enjoyed.
