*Well, we humans better start caring 'coz species extinction will surely be DEVASTATING to us for not only does a number of medicines are obtained from plants & animals but more importantly, their extinction will tremendously disrupt the ecological balance of nature whereby disruption in the food-chain will be the most devastating to us in the long run as we'll run out of food inspite of intensive farming.

And as we all know, intensive farming can be easily devastated too by diseases such as mad-cow disease with cattles, foot & mouth disease with pigs, avain flu with poultry, & etc.

Hence, fighting global warming via curbing CO2 emissions is really in our best interest!
