There are 5 more areas of interest between Mt. Bromo & the ferry station for Bali whereby the blue asterisk is the "Ijen Crater," another beautiful volcano. However, the lure of Bali is such that we simply decided to skip these other 5 areas of interest. Ah, but maybe next time as I'm sure to go back here in Indonesia [in the future] to see the places I missed on this trip. *As you can see in the map, we mainly visited the middle & bottom part of Java. Actually, there's 3-5 interesting areas up north (the top portion of the map) but I'll just visit them in the future.
