An other marvellous weekend in Porto de Galinhas. It's one of the rather touristic beaches in North-East of Brazil. But just a 15 minutes walk, and you find yourself in a quite beach - Maracaipe - which is a surfer's paradise. And a little bit further, the Maracaipe River meets the see. To take a bath in the somehow salty water of this river feels like paradise on earth. The water is around 35 degrees warm and calm, but tidal. It's perfect to stay for an afternoon and have a couples of beers, sitting in the water. But watch out, don't forget to move your tables from time to time...:)
