this is the edge of astoria park looking towards manhattan where i went searching for this bridge for some reason. i'm still not entirely convinced it's the correct one, but it was the only one around that vaguely resembled what i was looking for. it was an interesting ride up there and a nice walk through that part of queens. the bridge will definately be used in the future.
