NYC 2004 (brklyn botanical gardens)
something i never got to do but was always interested in was taking a walk over to the brooklyn botanical gardens. specifically i was curious about the japanese garden which i saved for last and ran out of memory for. it was a strange day with a bit of drizzle as i got off the train and rounded the brooklyn museum. there was some parade going on of course but i couldn't tell you from which country they were celebrating. the waterfountain in front of the museum fascinated me for a few minutes before wandering into the gardens around the corner. really a strange juxtoposition having a new york city on one side, then a serene garden with rabbits and other creatures on the other. nyc has it all.
