Heidi, Attempting to locate information on a possible distant relative of yours. Blasius (Brazil) Sicka (or Sieka or Siko). Son of Martin Sicka. He was born about 1840 in Bohemia. Lived in Illinois most of his early life, joined the Civil War in Missouri and also served with a Michigan cavalry. Last known to be in Anna Illinois around 1875. No trace of him after that time. Would like to find out where he died and in what cemetery. Have done much searching but no luck on where he died.

Sicka is a very unusally name. All if the Sicka's in my family desend from Martin Sicka from near Prague. Martin arrived in New Orleans in 1850.
