What we call The Ridge is a range of mountains that, starting from beginning to end is about 3 - 4 miles long. The summit of Moel Eilio is about 2,700 feet above sea level and starting from Llanberis is an acsent of about 2,400. This is almost the equivelent to the acsent gained when you go up Snowdon from Pen y Pass!!

The views are fantastic, especially for such an easily accessible range of peaks. Better still for some, is the fact that you very rarely see more than about 6 other people on it at any one time! It's very easy ... (more)
