The castle with its moats was built in 1653 by Marcelius van Gelder, Lord of Arcen. The gardens are really worth a visit. Throughout the season you can enjoy the changing flower and plant arrangements: tulips in April, azalea's and rhododendrons from mid May and roses from mid June.
