Rosenborg park is the most central and perhaps the best known park with free access for public in Copenhagen. Its name is identical with that of castle built within the park. In this case, I guess the castle was the first, because Rosenborg means Rose Castle in Danish. Nice garden vegetation, trees, flowers, etc., are the main reason to visit it. It is a piece of nature (although well gardened) right in the center of the city. I was there during the first July Saturday noon in 2004. And here are the pictures.
