Me and my Husband went to Occidental Flamenco Punta canda August 26, 2001 for our honey moon, it was a great hotel, grat food and fab entertainment. we are planning to go again this August.

Were there February 22-March 1. The staff was nice. Fun was all day long. THe frozen drinks were not frozen. Everything about the place was great,pool,beach,rooms,check in and check out.Food stinks. 10 of us somehow had a stomach thing.We ate in the Italian resturant and they served us something completely different than what was on the menu, it was terrible.Bring pretzels,suntan lotion, $1 bills,film, snacks expensive , bring books or magazines Be careful with the girl that handles the reservations for day trips apparently, she and the tours guides do not have the same information. Please have everythingin writing.You must have a towel receipt to check out of the hotel. Golf great. Tell guest services UP FRONT that you want to pay by credit card. DO NOT DRINK THE WATER.Be careful Lots of funny business with the exchange rate.

It is marvelous!!!
first of all i am french so my english isn't very good! I just want to say that i was to the Hotel Occidental Flamenco in Punta Cana last X-mas(2001) it was very beautiful and it was the most beautiful hotel and place that i have ever seen, I am pleased as punched to see those photos! I suddenly remenbers a lot of things. I will probably go there this summer with my boyfriend.
