Skip and I are back from our European adventure and we had a wonderful time. Our ten days was a slice of time that, hopefully, will see us through those teenaged years when he will not want to acknowledge my existence, much less travel with his mother. But he was a marvellous companion and never once complained, unlike me, who at some point in Rome almost shouted to a caribineri that Italians should be forced to take a course in giving directions!
