Terengganu, such a unique state, rich is all sense of the word, culturally, wealthy, in our humble opinions blessed with many gorgeous beaches along its coastline, for us probably are some of the best you can find in Peninsula Malaysia. Apart from its famous tropical paradise islands such as Redang, Lang Tengah, Perhentian & Kapas, the lesser known cousins like Bukit Keluang, Kuala Terengganu town, floating mosque, Sekayu Waterfall, Kemasik Beach, vast plan of petroleum distilllery are no less as interesting. Leaving Kelantan, our next destination Terengganu is the magnificent Bukit Keluang with those unique conglomerates of rock formation. Quickly followed by the splendid floating mosque with its near perfect reflection at night, delicious sea food in china town, the wonderful boat trip through Terengganu estuary, the chilly yet refreshing bath at Sekayu Waterfall and last but not least, the jewel of the east, beach of Kemasik. We loved this beach so much we went back twice. The source of Terengganu's wealth became apparent when we drove past the vast petroleum distillery area at Kerteh. We ended the tour with a night's stay at famous Cherating Beach of Pahang. Looking for an out-of-this-world experience in Malaysia? Terengganu here we go!
