Nakiska is located 80 km (55 miles) east Banff or 100 km (60 miles) west of Calgary and is outside of the Banff National Park.

Nakiska as an Olympic Legacy offers the downhill enthusiast a variety of winter recreation. Very modern ski lifts with excellent prepared runs make this resort a paradise for the beginner and experienced skier.

This is a major family skiing destination from the Calgary and Alberta region. Many ski runs can satisfy every skier and snowboarder. In the area are very well developed cross-country ski trails for every level.

At the hill is located a restaurant and in the lodge other facilities can support you during cold skiing days. Renting facilities with downhill and snowboard equipment compliment this fine ski resort.

The best skiing time is from the middle of December to the first days of April.
