These photographs were part of 6 week trip to Spain and Portugal in the summer of 2004. There are brief descriptions of each place as gleaned from guide books and internet sources before and after the trip. If anyone sees any discrepancies, I would love to hear about them. A hiking excursion in the Sierra Nevadas of Spain was also done on this trip. As part of the trip was intended to get a quick view of Portugal, I grabbed a night train that took me to Lisbon from Madrid, and the next week or so was spent there, as well as in the Coimbra and Porto areas before re-entering Spain. Brief excursions to Sintra, Cascais and Belem were highlights Portugal.
