It says, "This synagogue is 100 years old and was set on fire by the nazis during the Kristallnacht on November 9, 1938. It was destroyed by allied bombs during the Second World War in 1939-1945. The facade of this house of god must stay for ever a place for reflection and commemoration. NEVER FORGET".
