Monastery
Today, I explore places surrounding this monastery.

Pagoda
This seems to be the center of pilgrimage for the people here.

Big Prayer Wheel
One of the Prayer Wheel they have to spin when making their pilgrim walk.

Pathway
This is the pathway towards the monastery and the temple.

Long Sleeves
Look at the fashion clothing of these children.. esp. the long sleeves

Walk Up
This young monk walking up the hill toward the monastery

Snow Mountains
Snow Mountains everywhere.

Monastery
The monastery looks grand. Very similar to those you can see in Tibet.

Window
The windows of the monastery are decorated with colors.This is one of them.

Speak louder
Little monks are encouraged to debate and speak out their points. They have a...

He saw me
OOps.. He spotted me 'shooting' them and got distracted from the...

Sleepy
Poor little monk might have lost interests or getting tired with the long...

Houses
These are some of the houses surrounding the monastery.

College of Debate
This is monastery where monks are trained, kind of a college for these monks.

Beautiful Architectures
These are beautiful architectures of the building.

Banners
See those banners... in brown and white. Think they represent something...

Quiet place
This is a very quiet place... you could hardly see people movign...

Roofs
It was interesting to see some crows on top of these beautiful roofs.

Smoke
Smoke could be seen. They could be burning incenses and praying.

..very interesting Tibetan presentation
Hi Stan, I was glad to see your very interesting Tibetan presentation as well as read your observation comments under each image. For you living in the tropic, to see and feel cold temperature with snow around reminded me of the scene which a few years ago we experience at CKS airport in Taipei in the middle of November. After landing there from cold and snowy Calgary, temperatures were hovering near plus 29C. We saw a young man wearing a warm leather jacket, toque and heavy gloves and shaking from what seems like a cold! After talking to him we found out that he came from Jakarta, where he lived, to Taiwan to experience winter weather! Everything is relative and you have made this point wonderfully with your awesome pictures. Cheers, Rafal

haaa.... your picture 's so interesting. by the way, i doubt that you didn't know what mother picking on her son's head. lol... only two answers actually. one is picking flea. another is dandruff haaa... just like everyone childhood you see. ;-) but i 'm very curious at the causes most after you got caught by monk from taking their photo. were you running away? or saying HI to them? or pretending shooting something else? one last thing. are they monk? we should address them as LAMA i guess. there're so much different between LAMA and monk, ain't i? ;) Well done! cheers!
