Tehran's Museum of Contemporary art houses the biggest and most valuable collection of Western modern art in the world outside Europe and the U.S.A. Rembrandt, Van Gogue, Picasso, Salvador Dali, Matisse, Andy Warhol, you name it. After the revolution of 1979, most of the "nudes" have been kept hidden in the archives of the museum. During reformist presiden Khatami's era they gradually started to reappear. But with Ahmadinejad's presidency they were closeted once again.
