In the first decade and a half these rules were strictly adhered to. After the election of Iran&#39;s reformist former president Khatami, social restrictions and dress code rules were gradually eased. Today many women use makeup, show much of their hair, wear high heels and clothes that reveal their body contours. Who knows?
